What it does

Claude Code Templates is a catalog of ready-to-use pieces for Claude Code: specialist agents, custom slash commands, MCP integrations, settings, hooks and skills, plus project templates. The README describes the pieces plainly — agents are specialists for a domain such as a security auditor or database architect; commands are custom slash commands such as generating tests or checking security; MCPs connect outside services such as GitHub, PostgreSQL, Stripe and AWS; hooks automate triggers such as pre-commit validation. Components can be browsed on the project's site, aitmpl.com, and installed one at a time or as a bundle.

Beyond the catalog, the same command-line tool includes a session analytics view and a conversation monitor for watching Claude's responses, which the README documents as separate flags on the same installer command.

Install

Claude Code (verified against the repo README's Quick Installation section): run the installer interactively, or install specific components in one command:

Single components use the same shape, for example npx claude-code-templates@latest --agent development-tools/code-reviewer --yes. The README also documents --analytics for the session analytics view and --chats for the conversation monitor, both on the same installer command.
